Crestwood

We updated an old path with four large terraced steps inlaid with 2’ x 2’ sandstone pavers. Each step was fabricated as an individual box out of 1/4” steel. The design called for all of the steps to be in a straight line, but upon installation, we decided a slight curve complimented the space better. The boxes were then welded in place to create the overall frame. A base of decomposed granite was compacted and leveled as a foundation for the pavers. We integrated a low voltage step light on the face of each step and then filled the remainder of the frame with decomposed granite.
