Orba Ln. (Front Yard)

This project was large enough to be split into two galleries. We designed and built large 1/4” steel planters of differing heights to create some bold geometric interest along the outlines of the front patio and walkway. The planters wrap around the side of the house and all have integrated drainage that directs water to a french drain. We installed a desert-scape, featuring a large Whale’s Tongue agave as the centerpiece, surrounded by golden barrel cacti and smaller agave. Silver ponyfoot was installed at the corners to provide a desert waterfall of muted color. To contrast the steel and highlight the plants, we topped the beds with 5/8” crushed limestone that has a hint of pink from this particular supplier.

We were all pretty proud of ourselves after bringing this project to life.
